This is an absolute disgrace to the previous games. ![]() The backbone of Syberia is still here and Benoit Sokal has made an interesting story once again but Microids does everything they can to kill off a series that defined the genre. It is absolutely rushed and one of the worst I have seen. Floors/ stairs that don't appear, doublicate items in inventory, items in inentory that you have already used. Just to name a few: >Going full 3d with "Resident Evil" type controls >Having to press the right trigger constantly to run >Hot spots are small white dots that appear only when Kate is near and facing them >Hidden small items in huge areas >Long loading screens when entering certain doors >Long distances / Kate runs slow >Unskipabble dialogue and cut scenes And other poor choices that adventures have put behind them for years now. The number of bad design decisions will blow your mind if you are a fan of the previous games. Unfortunately they made Syberia 3 a jogging simulator. >Hot spots are small white I think Syberia 1 and 2 are adventure classics that every adventure fan should play. >Having to press the right trigger constantly to run >Going full 3d with "Resident Evil" type controls The Xbox 360 version does indeed have a full 1,000 gamerscore.I think Syberia 1 and 2 are adventure classics that every adventure fan should play. Syberia has been created by famous French Artist Benoît Sokal, chief designer and the man in charge of orchestrating the myriad of elements that bring the Syberia world to life (to see the biography of Benoît Sokal, click here). These elements may take the form of found articles, zoomed viewpoints, or dialogue with other characters encountered along the journey. Each world offers the player a chance to discover the key elements needed for solving the mysteries and challenges integrated into the storyline. The action takes place in eight different worlds. Syberia 1 and 2 base its gameplay on a mix of discovery and scenario development.
